When you contact us or submit a training inquiry, we may receive your name, email address, WhatsApp number, freediving experience, goals, preferred training type and dates, schedule flexibility, group size, comfortable depth, and any message you provide.
Website inquiries are submitted through Formspree. Some bookings may use Cal.com, communications may take place through WhatsApp or email, and some waitlists may use Tally. Information you submit to those services is also handled under their privacy terms.
Training payments may be arranged by bank transfer, GCash, or Wise. Those providers process payment and account details under their own policies. We may retain payment confirmations and related booking or accounting records.
3. The Deep Practice AI Information
When you create or use a The Deep Practice AI account, we may process your name, email address, profile photo, language, account identifiers, subscription status, freediving level and certifications, disciplines, personal bests, goals, availability, weaknesses, notes, and equalization information.
We may also store training logs, plans, readiness check-ins, session details, depth and pool results, comfort, fatigue, soreness, sleep, recovery, injuries or symptoms you choose to report, free-text notes, AI prompts, conversations, and generated responses.
If you upload a Garmin FIT file, we store the original file and may extract activity details such as timestamps, duration, distance, calories, speed or pace, cadence, power, ascent and descent, steps, depth, heart rate, and temperature. An original FIT file may contain additional information, including location or GPS data, even when that information is not displayed in the app.
If you use the equalization pressure trainer, we may process and store Bluetooth device details, timestamps, session settings, pressure samples, and session analyses.
4. Technical Data, Cookies, and Analytics
We and our providers may receive technical and usage information, such as IP address, device and browser details, pages or features used, diagnostic information, and hosting or security logs.
Our website uses Google Analytics and Google Ads for analytics and advertising measurement. When a Google click identifier (gclid) is present in a website URL, we store it in a first-party cookie for 30 days. Clicking certain contact links, including the WhatsApp button, may record a Google Ads conversion. Cloudflare Turnstile helps protect forms from abuse.
You can control cookies through your browser settings, although disabling some cookies may affect how parts of the website work.
5. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- respond to inquiries and arrange training or bookings;
- create and manage app accounts, subscriptions, and support;
- save profiles, plans, logs, uploaded files, and progress;
- provide personalized plans, analyses, and AI features;
- operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve our services;
- measure website use and advertising performance; and
- meet applicable legal, accounting, and safety obligations.
6. AI Processing
The Deep Practice AI uses OpenAI to provide features such as chat, plan generation, log or session analysis, and equalization review. Depending on the feature, information sent for processing may include your prompt, profile, training plans and logs, check-ins, chat history, saved memories, and relevant session or pressure analysis. This processing is used to generate the feature you request.
AI-generated output may be incomplete or inaccurate. It is for training support and education only and is not a replacement for a qualified freediving instructor, medical advice, an in-person buddy, or proper freediving supervision and safety procedures.
7. Service Providers and Sharing
We use service providers to operate our services. These may include Vercel for website hosting, Formspree for inquiries, Cal.com for bookings, Tally for waitlists, Google for analytics, advertising, and limited availability data, Cloudflare for form security, Supabase for app authentication, database, and file storage, OpenAI for AI features, and RevenueCat and the applicable app store for purchases and subscription management.
We share information with these providers as needed for the relevant service. We may also disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect our users, our services, or the rights and safety of others.
8. Purchases and Subscriptions
App purchases are processed by the applicable app store and RevenueCat. We may receive identifiers and information about products, entitlements, purchase status, and expiration, but we do not receive full payment-card details from the app store.
9. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain information while it is needed to provide our services and for legitimate support, safety, security, accounting, and legal purposes. Retention varies by the information and service. Except for the 30-day gclid cookie described above, this policy does not promise a fixed automatic deletion period.
You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information by contacting hello@thedeeppractice.co using the email address connected to your account. Account-deletion requests are typically processed within 30 days after verification. Some information may be retained where required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, abuse-prevention, or accounting reasons.
10. Security and International Processing
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No storage or transmission method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We and our service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Data protection laws in those countries may differ from those in your location.
11. Your Choices and Rights
